Walking The Walls or Riding the Bounds
As the dry weather continues in North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, benefitting the new born lambs ,The Haven Cottage guests have also benefitted and been busy visiting outdoor attractions in the area. Places such as Bamburgh Beach, Duddo Stones (above), Eyemouth Harbour and Alnwick Castle, where the younger ones (and not quite so young) have been taking instruction on riding Witches Broomsticks !! All of the locations have received glowing recommendations.
The tulips are in full bloom as the daffodils gradually fade and the warmer weather and lighter evenings have made those evening walks something to treasure.
